Procedure (ERS)

RED (ERS) plug - is used a control.

GREEN (ERS) plug - is placed in bath or shower outlet.

Victim/Suspect is invited to carefully wash hair and body all over using the specially formulated hair/body wash provided.

During the bathing process a sample of water is taken.

Water drains away through the (ERS) strainer plug collecting any microscopic particulates.

BLUE (ERS) plug - is used to rinse the bath or shower to collect any particulates which may have adhered to the surfaces.

The (ERS) plugs are then placed in a tamper evident bag and stored in a freezer until analysis can take place.
